In Memorial

It's with heavy heart that I post that my father died in his sleep last Friday evening at the VA Center in Norman, Oklahoma. He had a long hard battle the past years with diabetes, Alzheimers, a hip fracture last summer and amputation last month. I know he's in a better place now and I am glad that he is finally pain free. The funeral was on Wednesday, in Purcell, Oklahoma, with graveside services at the Tuttle cemetery.  I and my family greatly appreciates all the phone calls, emails, facebook posts, flowers and plants, visits and your thoughts and prayers.   We have all returned to our respective homes, but our hearts are still there in Purcell with my mom and thoughts are on dad.
