Card Sketch Challenge
The challenge at Sketches by Tamara is a card sketch this week. I love card sketches as I am always needing cards to send to friends. Here's the sketch...
This is my card design. I rotated the card sketch to accomodate my sentiment.
Let me know what you think and be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has done with this sketch.

Chocolate Lovin' Dog!
Here is my chocolate lovin' dog! I know you all wanted to see another photo of the dog that gets into so much trouble. Memorial weekend, I had been making cake balls and put the extra chocolate coating bags on a HIGH shelf in the panty behind a supposedly CLOSED door. On Wednesday, I came home to find that Bruno had eaten 2-1/2 pounds of chocolate coating and he was vomiting everywhere. Fortunately, for Bruno's sake, his favorite tends to be lighter chocolate - milk chocolate and white chocolate (which really isn't chocolate anyway). He was so sick. But, you know the next night when I was making cake balls again (trying to get rid of the remainder of the chocolate coating), he was sitting behind me like an ex-smoker inhaling the chocolate fumes!
Here he is at Lindsey's graduation party, not too far from the chocolate! He is one chocolate lovin' dog!

Graduation!
My baby has graduated. Had a great ceremony Saturday morning and a fun Bar-B-Q Sunday afternoon. Boy, was it hot. Here is Lindsey after graduation (forgive the lack of photoshopping).

I'm A Quilter!
So excited! I have been wanting to learn to quilt for a while and had the opportunity this weekend to spend some time with some ladies who were die-hard quilters. They were so absolutely sweet and helped me out -- everything from suggesting a quilt kit to how-to instructions to laughing with me during my frustrations and applauding my efforts when I actually finished my quilt top!!! Yeah!
Now, it is far from perfect and I really need to work on my accuracy in both cutting and sewing those 1/4" seams, but I'm very pleased with my first attempt. Now I just need to work on the back and get it quilted.
I'm ready to start on my next quilt project! Well, first I think I need to buy a decent sewing machine and some tools. And a quilt room would be cool! Good thing those kids are moving out in a few months!
Please let me know what you think!
