52 Weeks of Photos - My Take on Project-365

This is my take on Project-365. I am using CTMH photo protectors and all CTMH supplies. For most weeks, I will be doing a 2-page layout for the week so cut five 4"x6" pieces of cardstock - one for the week title and two for journaling. I decorated the week title block and noted the dates. I cut seven pieces of cardstock 3-3/4"x 2-3/4" for the journaling blocks. I stamped these with my CTMH Journaling Jots stamp and decorated. Adhered to the 4x6s and decorated the one blank space. (On the first week, you can see I used only two journaling blocks (3 blocks) as it was a short week).

On this last week, I had taken a lot of vertical photos so I printed them at Sam's in wallet size, cut one off and then mounted them on a 4x6 piece of cardstock. Some I decorated with papers.

A New Layout!

This layout is of my DS on a trip to Colorado a few years ago. I did this layout as the project at my Club Crop on January 9th, using CTMH's Reflections sketch book, Aspen papers. The journaling block is from the January promotion, Key to My Heart stamp set and the title letters are also CTMH. I usually have places open at my crop -- maybe you can make the next one on Feb. 6th!

Some new cards!

Just some cards I made at a recent crop. The stamps are all CTMH but the papers varied. Some I got from old page kits from CE08 and SE08, some were scraps from friends (thank you Michelle!). The Nestability on the first pink card was given to me by my PAWS Secret Santa this year (Thanks, Jeanne!). I just love all the new Nestabilities -- I hope more come out at CHA!


Used my cuttlebug embossing folder on the lower left one and some random circles in a page kit for the lower right one.

I love this stamp set. It was the September SOTM from CTMH last year but I have a feeling we might see it in an upcoming catalog...

Box for Cards For Heros going out next week

I'm packing up a box of cards to send to the Cards for Heros.org to be mailed next week. If you have any that you want to donate, just drop them by my house or at a crop. I'll be sending another box out in March so if I don't see you this weekend, bring them to retreat, a crop or next time you see me. Thanks for making a difference!

Spring Retreat

I never dreamed this would fill this quickly. I have very limited space available now - check the updates to the right under "Beach Scrapbooking Retreats" (I am updating it constantly). If you are interested in coming, email me with the date you prefer and which of the available rooms you'd like. Prices are $95 for queen room sharing a bed, $105 for single bunk (if available) and $120 for 2 queen room with your own bed. I will send you the registration form (or you can pick it on my yahoogroup under files). I will need you to send in your registration form and payment within 7 days to hold your reservation. If you are paying cash or check, you can pay 50% now and 50% thirty days prior to the event. If you need to pay credit, payment must be in full. No refunds, but if I can fill your spot, I will be able to get you a partial refund. If I fill up, I will start a wait list and if I have enough people on wait list, I'll try to find another date.

Spring 2009 Retreat - filling up

Information about the Spring Retreats has been posted through my yahoogroup. The dates will be 2/27-3/1 and 3/6-8. As there are only up to 9 spots available each weekend, be sure to get your reservation in early. I've already got the bunk room full for the first weekend. I'm going to put a ticker of the availability on the side-bar of my blog.
