2.   Kit Club - Did you know that CTMH does awesome kits?    I'm starting up a Kit Club so we can explore these new kits each month.  Cost is $29.95 (plus shipping and sales tax).  Each kit comes with paper, embellishments, an exclusive stamp set (only available in the kit) and an instruction sheet for creating up to four 12x12 layouts and 6 cards.  It's an incredible deal!   There's even an add-on kit of embellishments at an extra cost for those who have to have it all!  I'll be doing a crop once a month on Friday night where we can work on the cards/layout from the kit using my inks and additional stamps or you can do general cropping.   I need a minimum of 6 ladies committing to purchase the kit for 6 months.   As a member of the club, in addition to  the kit, you will also receive free catalogs during your term, free crop night at my house once a month and one lady will be hostess each month and earn the hostess benefits.   I would like to start in July if I have six ladies, otherewise it may be a month or two later.   I have six places -- email me if you want to reserve you one!

3.  Summer Idea Books are available now.   If you are local and want to pick your catalog up, cost is $2.50 and you will receive a $2.50 coupon for your next order.    If you need your idea book mailed, there is a paypal button for purchasing a catalog for $5, which includes the postage.

Recipe Challenge

This week, the challenge at sketchesbytamara is a Recipe Challenge. This weeks Recipe Challenge came from Vanessa, our Challenge Coordinator here at Sketches! {by tamara}. Please use at least these three items on your layouts or cards:

-Masking
-Alphapbet
-Yellow

Here is my take on the challenge (and, yes, there really is a little alphabet on the card - look at the petals).

I used the Tim Holtz clock mask and plantinum Glimmer Mist for the mask.  I actually colored a white flower with the Glimmer Mist and add accents to the yellow flower.
If you decide to do the challenge, we would love to take a peek. Just leave a link in the comment section over at sketchesbytamara.

Graduation Invite

My daughter is graduating high school in June and we are celebrating with a Bar-B-Q on Sunday afternoon.  Attached are the invitations that I've made for the event.  Orange and pink are my daughter's favorite colors so, of course, her invites had to incorporate those colors.   Thank you to Sandy B for letting me borrow her QK grad hat die again!

Paper: Paper Studio; Cardstock: CTMH, Bazzill; ribbon: COD Warehouse; flower: prima; die: QK; bling: HL.

Enjoy and be sure to sign up to receive emails whenever I update my blog

Sketch Layout

Hey, all!    CTMH Idea Books sales are going briskly, so if you want one, there is a purchase bottom to the left or you can email me if you are local and want to pick it up.

The challenge this week at sketchesbytamara.blogspot.com is a layout sketch.    Here is the sketch:

This is what I did with the sketch:   All products (papers, cardstock, ink, stamps, deco brads) are CTMH.  Everything except the machine stitching.  That is by Singer!

This is from a wild and crazy trip I made to Dallas when good friend Jeanne (from PAWS) was there on a business trip. Gayla (another PAWSer) lives in the area so we went to the Fort Worth stockyards. Why am I the only one acting crazy? Oh, yeah, that's right -- I didn't put their crazy pictures in the layout since I was posting it! They do exist, you know!

CTMH Idea Books are here!

The Summer CTMH Idea Book is here and full of fun products!   I've added a Paypal Purchase Button to the top left if you would like one mailed right out to you.   A $2.50 coupon off your first purchase will be included with your idea book.

Also, check out the adorable Stamp of The Month for May!   How cute and useful is that?    Retail price is $22.95, but you can earn 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% off it with qualifying orders.  Ask me how!

Win A Big Shot!
